Back in September, Donna and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Cancun, Mexico to shoot another Destination wedding at the wonderful Royalton Riveria Resort! Michelle and Brad who are from Maryland saw our YouTube video from our last wedding there and contacted us about shooting their wedding. We were really excited to meet Michelle & Brad’s and to be apart of their big day.
Donna was pregnant last year when I shot our first wedding in Cancun, so she was excited to get to shoot this destination wedding with me. It was definitely hard being away from the kids for 4 days but we really enjoyed getting some time together for the first time in a while!
The first night we were there, we met up with Michelle and Brad to talk about the wedding and to get to know each other. They were so sweet and we really felt like it was going to be a great wedding. The weather was looking skeptical for that next evening, so there were doubts about having the reception outside. Michelle made a wonderful decision of going forward with it anyway, and luckily the weather held out and it was an amazing evening. It was a beautiful afternoon wedding on the beach, with a perfect night on the balcony for the reception. We really enjoyed photographing Michelle & Brad’s family and look forward to watching their lives grow together!
